Which kind of creatives can I help?
Students or new graduates who are hitting the job market for the first time
Professionals who started in a different field but want to pivot to art or design
International creatives who want to be sure that their language is clear and correct
Visual thinkers who want help putting their ideas into words or being concise
Hi, I’m Jess.

I help artists and designers improve their communication skills so they stand out and get noticed. With my experience and expertise in art, design, and teaching English, I’ll guide you in how to tell a great story about your work.
I offer much more than just proofreading. I understand the specific writing and speaking needs of creative professionals and the struggle of imposter syndrome. I’ll help you connect with your audience and share your greatness with the world!
WHAT I DO:
WHAT I DO:
- Coach you on storytelling and keeping your audience engaged
- Help you to ensure that your language is clear, concise, and free of errors
- Provide kind, specific, and encouraging feedback so you can improve
WHAT I DON’T DO:
I won’t critique the quality of your projects or tell you which ones to include. I’m a language specialist. Instead, I’ll help you describe your projects effectively for your specific audience so your work shines.

I would choose you over other company as you has a background in art and design, and teaching skill, especially ESL, so that is a great combination for young designer who just started out of their career.

Not only did she help me improve my portfolio, but also encouraged me to present it with more confidence, and I believe this really helped me through job interviews and eventually, landed a job.

The Artglish Community
building confidence together
Many of the creatives I speak to are struggling to find their voices and share their unique stories with pride. My dream is to create a community where artists and designers can learn, practice, and feel supported in a low-stakes environment. It would be a place to make friends, get feedback, share ideas, and encourage each other as we grow and transform into more confident versions of ourselves.
30-Second Scroll
30-Second Scroll is the Artglish video blog, where I highlight an awesome artist or designer’s portfolio to show you how to make a good impression in only 30 seconds. I talk about how to stand out and get noticed, how to connect with your audience, and how to tell your story. You can use the category tags at the top of each post to view specific types of examples. If you’d like to volunteer your site or suggest one that inspires you, please email me! I’m always looking for new people to feature.
